More than 2 decades of work experience as a veterinarian for domestic animals

With five decades of pet treatment and ownership (of both cats and dogs, rescued and purebred) Dr. Cutler and the team at The Behavior Clinic for Cats & Dogs has just about seen it all. We have a firm grasp on what should be done and, as important, what shouldn’t be.

Dr. Cutler has worked in various kinds of environments:

  • Urban Emergency and specialty practices in Philadelphia (UPenn) and the Animal Medical Center in NYC (1991-1998)
  • Urban high end 24/7 small animal practice, Park East Animal Hospital
  • Suburban small animal high volume practice, Somers Animal Hospital
  • House call practice, At Home Vet Care (founded 2010 – present)
  • Medical and Behavioral Consultations (See Testimonials )
  • Consultant with multiple local canine rescue groups.

“My dogs and cats are so very lucky to have Dr. Sarah Cutler, come to their home! She has taken care of us all from kittens and puppies to geriatric days with individual attention and extra levels of care. Dr. Cutler’s commitment to their wellbeing is unique. She is intuitive with the animals and their owners too! Her passion of animal behavior has brought the best veterinarian care and understanding to my pets I have ever had for my animals. She sits on the floor with my nervous doodle , Lego, and takes all the time he needs to be more comfortable, she taught me how to support my elderly cat, Baxter, with IV fluids in his home, and gave my elderly wire haired dauschund, Maudie, constant care in her aging days. She has extensive knowledge and is always a resource of veterinarian specialists. Wisdom, availability, communication and understanding are hard to find in a veterinarian and Dr. Cutler brings these all to your own home!”
